Project Overview

The three-story building connects to the east side of the existing hospital. The building is approximately 89,251 sf in area and houses an Emergency Department expansion, surgery expansion, and new ICU units. The 34,341 sf first floor of the expansion building includes 35 new ED beds and a new x-ray room. The 29,810 sf second floor will include an expansion of the existing Surgery department, with three shelled Operating Rooms, three shelled Cath Labs, and a new Sterile Storage area. The second floor will also include 12 licensed ICU beds. The 25,100 sf third floor will include 12 built-out (but not equipped or licensed) ICU beds, and a shelled space for an additional 12 ICU beds.
